What format should the programme be in?
Since the contract is not explicit on this point, it is worth including a constraint in the Works Information stating that the Contractor is to submit the programme in both a pdf and in the form of whatever planning software it has been created in. The specific software should also be mentioned in the Works Information. Having the electronic version of the Contractor’s programme allows the Project Manager to assess the effects of compensation events. Similarly, from the Contractor’s point of view, submitting an electronic version of the programme will enable the Project Manager to make an accurate and fair assessment of a compensation event.
