Whilst I am clear that Contractor’s CE quotations should show impact of CE on Key Dates and Completion Date, should every CE quotation show general impact on programme and movement of other activities, even if those programme changes are not to the Key Dates or Completion Date?
For NEC4 ECC if the CE alters remaining work then such alterations to the Accepted Programme are to be included with a quotation. This does not mean submitting a programme for all remaining operations, but only those where the CE alters remaining work.
If this is not included with a quotation then this is a reason for the PM to make an assessment (clause 64.1 3rd bullet).
Hi Andrew, thanks again for the quick reply. Alternatively, could the PM rightly assume that if no programme impact information is included in the CE quotation this means there has been no impact on the programme of any kind caused by the CE in question?
That would be a reasonable assumption to make, unless it was obvious that the CE would impact remaining work.
