CE quotations & Programme Impact

NEC3 and NEC4 Contracts

We are on an NEC 4 Option B subcontract. We have a number (4) of CEs to provide quotations for all of which have an impact on the completion date, but some (not all) have an element of concurrency.

It would appear that contractually we provide 4 separate quotations with 4 separate impact programmes. How do we deal with:-

a) quoting for extended prelims - do we price in to all 4 quotes knowing that there is an overlap and let the PM deal with it through his assessments.

b) Programmes - how do we deal with links between the 4 items if we are to provide 4 separate impact programmes.

You are required to show on the impacted programme events which have happened between the date of the Accepted Programme and the dividing date (63.5 bullet 2) therefore, when developing the CE programme for the second event, you will need to show the impact of the first event and to calculate just the additional delay (if any) due to the event you are assessing for, and so on.
