Can a Subcontractor or consultant that the Contractor intends to employ for the project become a Partner?
Yes. A Subcontractor or consultant that the Contractor intends to employ for the project may be a Partner, but the general policy on this should be decided at the beginning of the Project. The Core Group should advise the Contractor at the outset if a Subcontractor or consultant is to be asked to be a Partner. The Contractor should not appoint a Subcontractor or consultant who the Core Group decides should be a Partner if he is not willing to be a Partner.
