Where might Key Dates rather than sectional Completion be used?
Examples of where Key Dates, rather than sectional Completion, should be used include the following:
The Contractor’s design having reached a defined stage to enable information to be passed to Others so that their design can proceed
A wall having been built to a certain level so that Others can start to fix their plant to it.
Completion of some, but not all, of the works on a floor of a multi-storey building so that Others can commence their work, which is to be carried out at the same time as the remainder of the Contractor’s work on that floor.
