Tenderer not able to provide a Performance Bond or Parent Company Guarantee

Hi All,

How do you proceed if the when conducting a procurement activity the tenderer has stated that they are unable to provide a parent company guarantee or performance bond?

If there is a requirement for the tenderer to provide a PCG and / or performance bond and they are unable to do so then their bid is non-compliant. If you are happy to proceed with their bid on the understanding they cannot provide them then it begs the question as to why they were a requirement in the first place.
