Raising an EWN for Subcontractor not updating insurances? Sanctions?

Hi,

As the employers QS, I’ve been requesting for the renewal certification (CAR insurance) of the main contractors subcontractor but to no avail.

The main contractor has raised this with their subcontractor but we seem to be at a standstill.

Can I raise this as an early warning via CEMAR and as the employers QS, is there any sanctions I can enforce for non compliance?

Hi, is it not the main contractor’s insurance that you should be asking for

Hi Dave, we’ve got all them but we also require the subcontractors as per the WI

Hi, if its a requirement of the WI then the Contractor is obliged to provide it. Non compliance is technically a breach by the Contractor
