NEC4 ECC errors in Accepted Programme

If there is an error in the Accepted Programme e.g. the Contractor did not include some key activities that were in the Scope. Should the Project Manager use clause 17.1 to notify the inconsistencies and instruct to revise the programme due to these errors or just instruct the Contractor to revise the programme under clause 32 suffice?

If the programme has been accepted, depending upon when the next submission is scheduled, the practical solution would be for the Project Manager to instruct the Contractor to submit a revised programme (the PM may want to point out the revision needs to include the missing activities). If the next scheduled submission is imminent then it may be better to address in that one.
