The Employer is rejecting the inclusion of vans within the ‘total cost to employ’ for people as the clause has been amended to remove payments made in relation to people for (n) a vehicle. Are vans allowable under Equipment, specifically transport as indicated by the guidance notes?

If the SSCC has been amended to exclude payments to people for 11 (n) a vehicle then the cost would be deemed to be included in the Fee (clause 52.1).
SSCC Cost component 2 Equipment covers the cost of Equipment used within the Working Areas so a vehicle used for personnel use would not fall into this definition.
What would happen if the van were picking up materials to bring to site?
