Under an existing ECC3 Option A executed in 3Q21, is the Queens Jubilee holiday Thursday 2nd & 3rd June 2022 a CE under X2.

A royal proclamation was given in November 2020 which changed the Spring Bank Holiday day from Monday 30 May 2022 to Thursday 02 June 2022 and added an additional Bank Holiday of Friday 03 June 2022. Note that this applies to England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Under secondary option X2 any ‘change in the law’ applies after the Contract Date, which is when the contract came into existence. From what you have said, secondary option X2 does not apply in your case.
