Are agency finders fees part of SCC People Costs (defined cost) or deemed to be included within the Fee?

Please can you give a few more details, namely :

  • is it agency finder fees for someone who is then employed via an agency; OR
  • someone who then becomes employed directly by the Contractor ?

It is agency finders fees for finding new permanant management staff

I find it difficult to see how the cost of recruitment/agency finder fees would fit within the full schedule of cost components. Its unlikely that these costs would fall within the headings of “working in special circumstances”, “special allowances” and “meeting the requirements of the law” and as such would normally fall within the Fee. I would suggest that you ask the Contractor to explain his rationale.

Agree with Chris these costs are part of the Fee. They are overhead costs incurred and associated with running a business. There is no component in 1 People in the SCC and the components of costs in 1 People are in relation to payments to people working in the Working Areas.
