A test has to be repeated because a Defect was found. Does the Project Manager’s assessment of the cost incurred by the Employer include the Contractor’s cost of repeating the test?

No. When the Project Manager assess the cost incurred by the Employer in repeating a test or inspection after a Defect is found, the Project Manager does not include the Contractor’s cost of carrying out the repeat test or inspection (see Clause 40.7).
