When assessing the cost incurred by the Employer in repeating a test or inspection after a Defect is found, does the Project Manager include the Contractor’s cost of carrying out a repeat test or inspection?

No. When the Project Manager assesses the cost incurred by the Employer in repeating a test or inspection after a Defect is found, the Project Manager does not include the Contractor’s cost of carrying out a repeat test or inspection (see Clause 40.7).
