What should the Project Manager do if a delay may result in the Completion Date or a Key Date not being achieved?

I am concerned about the current performance of the Contractor. What should I do as the Project Manager if I am concerned that a delay which has already occurred may result in the Completion Date or a Key Date not being achieved?

If the Project Manager is concerned that a delay may result in the Completion Date or Key Date not being achieved, he can instruct the Contractor to produce a revised programme under Clause 32.1 showing how he intends to recover the time he has lost.

The Project Manager can also raise an early warning stating their concerns, which can then be discussed by both Parties at a risk reduction meeting and actions agreed to try to mitigate any delays.
