Items that are provided and used by the Contractor to Provide the Works, and which are not required to be included in the works by the Works Information are Equipment under Clause 11.2(7). Examples include: vehicles; tools; temporary works; or cabins. Where the terms ‘plant’ or ‘constructional plant’ have previously been used in UK building and civil engineering, Equipment is now used.
