The Project Manager has corrected a mistake in the Bill of Quantities. Is this a compensation event?
Each time the Project Manager corrects mistakes in the Bill of Quantities which are departures from the rules for item descriptions and for division of the work into items in the method of measurement or are due to ambiguities or inconsistencies, it is a compensation event. This may lead to reduced prices (see Clause 60.6).
