Service Period lapse

Hi

I am currently managing an NEC 3 TSSC contract. The service period is about to lapse. Do I need to inform the contractor via a contract communication or is it taken for granted that both parties know then end of the service period

The end of the service period is simply achieved by the passage of time and no formal communications are required.

The time to complete work may be ‘extended’, however, by the issuing of a Task Order where the Task Completion Date is later than the end of the service period.
