Under NEC Option A, our Contractor has instructed a risk reduction meeting and the Project Manager didn’t attend. Can the Contractor seek remuneration for his costs in attending the meeting under 60.1(18)
Probably not (but possibly) as this compensation event is for breach of contract by the Employer (NEC3) or Client (NEC4), so it is a fair argument to say they and the PM are not one and the same under the contract. If the PM is a direct employee of the Employer/Client, that are argument would be weakened.
Perhaps give another early warning instead first of all.

Its NEC4 and the Project Manager is a direct employee of the Client. Should this not be the best recourse for the Contractor, what could be the best avenue for them to notify recovery if not 60.1(18) breach.
