We’re currently engaged by a public sector client on a NEC4 PSC Option A contract. Shortly after the contract start date the scope was changed to which a CE was accepted increasing the project value by 30%.
Due to funding issues the project was put on hold for a considerable period (approx. 1 year), however, some additional works separate from the Activity Schedule have now began to materialise which are covered under CEs.
The award of this contract was a considerable undertaking for my company and resulted in the hiring of additional staff/resources to execute - is there anywhere within the contract that allows for CEs due to delays or omissions to Activities in the AS?
