Under the NEC4 PSC Option E contract, does the Consultants programme submitted along with the accepted quotation become the Accepted Programme in default? I have accepted a quote (which included a programme), but there has been a scope change soon afterward. Can the first Accepted Programme be the one with the scope change, or should it be the original programme submitted along with the quote?
No. The Consultant has to move the Completion Date and, presumably, planned Completion along in the next programme submission. If you think about it, having the CE programme accepted wouldn’t work - we might be quoting something where the dividing date was a long time ago. The world has moved on in the mean time.
What intrigues me here is reference to the first Accepted Programme. If you have not got one of those, I don’t know how you assessed this CE.
