NEC Option B Prelims (Planned Completion or Contract Completion)

Currently working on a NEC3 Option B contract as the Sub-Contractor.
Within our B.O.Q we have a seperate section covering the Prelims.
We currently have a planned completion date with terminal float of 2 weeks. If we where to need this terminal float would our prelims be payable upto the Contract completion date?

It depends how the BoQ is put together. Your BoQ will be “Quantity x rate”, what is the stated “quantity” for prelims? If there is no extension (via a Compensation Event) then when you reach the final stated quantity the Employer will stop paying you. You would not pay a Contractor extra for their own delay.
