I’m working on a office refurbishment under JCT ICD 16 currently on site, where the architect has specified for a new suspended metal grid ceiling with moisture resistant plasterboard finish to be prepared for a new paint finish to suit room classification and use. I’ve been made aware that the contractor has not included a price for the new paint finish. My initial thoughts are this would fall under clause 2.13 and that the Client should incur the cost?
