When the main contract is a 2016 DB what would be the most appropriate subcontract where the subcontractor has no design responsibility. Subcontract to be on a lump sum basis?
Paul. You would want to use the JCT 2016 DBSub/A and DBSub/C conditions of contract. You would delete the Third Recital and use Article 3A (deleting Article 3B for re-measurement). If you need help putting the Sub-Contract together please obtain proper advice.
