Under JCT Standard Building Contract 2009, if the 12 week review period has passed without the contractor issuing documents to the architect, is it legally permissible for a further extension of time to be granted?

JCT Standard Building Contract 2009: Is it permissible for the architect to give a further extension of time if documents from the contractor have not been received until after the end of the 12 weeks’ review period?

Recent legislative decisions have indicated that if a contractor submits information once the 12 week period has expired then the architect is not able to take this information into consideration. Even if the information is provided on time, an extension of time will result.
