Once an architect has improved a contractor's programme, is it possible for a contractor to alter it without informing the architect, and does the architect have the legal right to demand an update?

Contractors are perfectly entitled to change programmes without the permission of architects, and in this scenario an architect has no legal basis to demand an update.
