How do we recover Designers time when their rates are not included within our CD2 ?
Under main Option A this situation would only be applicable to a compensation event.
If no rates are stated in Contract Data Part 2 and the designer is a consultancy then you could treat them as a Subcontractor.
If the designer’s are employees of the Contractor then they would be classed as People, although if they are not working in the Working Areas then you would need to add an area to the Working Areas to ensure their cost can be treated as Defined Cost.
