I have been asked to prepare a framework agreement for a multi-disciplinary construction professional services firm. Is it possible to use both the JCT Framework Agreement and the JCT Consultancy Agreement (Public Sector) together? We are a public sector client. The consultants will need to be able to flex between Standard and D&B so novation is important. Our intention is to keep consultancy and works separately.

Yes is the short answer and the Framework Agreement would need to be completed so that the flexibility you seek can be established in practice. Its quite complicated to put together so be careful to make sure you complete the Framework Agreement properly. Good luck.

Thanks. I plan to download the JCT framework guidance document and will work through that when completing the framework agreement. I will arrange for someone to check my work too.
