A new secondary option has been included in the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) to support the production of information for BIM. Under this option the Contractor provides an Information Execution Plan which has to comply with the Client’s BIM Requirements. It also deals with the Information Model, Information ownership and liability of the parties.
