Before the Contractor submits quotations for other methods of dealing with a compensation event, what is required of the Project Manager?

The Project Manager is required to discuss possible ways of dealing with the event with the Contractor before instructing him to submit quotations. This is intended to avoid wasting the Contractor’s resources in preparing quotations for methods which are not practicable (see clause 62.1).
