It is permissible to request the likes of bank statements, balance sheets, a statement of the tenderer’s overall turnover, and its turnover in respect to the last three financial years. However, should such documents be unavailable, then it is legitimate to ask for any form of documentation that will acceptably confirm the financial or economic standing of the tenderer in question.
