What happens if the Employer uses a part of the works before Completion has been certified?
If the Employer uses a part of the works before Completion has been certified, he takes over the part of the works when he begins to use it and a compensation event occurs (Clause 60.1(15)) except if the use is: for a reason stated in the Works Information; or to suit the Contractor’s method of working (see Clause 35.2).
