On a standard JCT DB contract, is there a limit to the amount of time that can pass before an EWN can be raised by the Main Contractor?
We have a client who is issuing EWN’s of potential costs for issues that were back in April.
We were behind by a few weeks on our installation, but this was been monitored through weekly onsite progress meetings.
We are now been issued SEVEN 
EWN’s for various tasks that are already well completed so in essence no opportunity to mitigate back charges as they have already occurred.
It doesn’t seem right, but I’m struggling to find the correct information to support this ‘gut feeling’
