Should a contractor be aware of any time limit to remedy all defects at the end of the rectification period?

JCT Standard Building Contract 2009 clause 2.38 simply states that this process should take place “within reasonable time”. This is open to legal interpretation, but generally the number of defects and difficulties involved with rectification will be taken into consideration.
