Bridge LMS updates
In this Bridge Learn release (Mar 2023), Smart Groups can easily be duplicated by users with permission to Create a Smart Group.
New Feature
Smart Group Duplication
Smart Groups can easily be duplicated by users with permission to Create a Smart Group. When duplicating a group, it will have a prefix of ‘Copy’ added to the name. This allows you to easily duplicate groups that may need minute changes while being mostly the same.
Learn
In this Bridge Learn release (Mar 24), Course expiration options have been updated. Journeys can be completed without the need to complete all steps. Admins have been given the ability to maintain the Auto CSV system better.
Live Training Sessions Progress Widget is a detailed view that shows an overall participation statistic on every Live Training Session. We have added a third option to three (formerly) yes/no filters. Earlier, locked program items (program items are related to an ‘in order’ program’s learnable content) were not visible in the transcript dashboard at all. Step IDs have been added to the Journey Overview widget drill table.
New Feature
Course Expiry Options
Course expiration options have been updated and can now be setup based on the following:
- Timeframe after the enrollment completion date
- Timeframe after the enrollment start date
- A specific date in a year
Additionally, timeframes can now be incremented by years and not just days.
Journeys Completion Settings
Journeys can be completed without the need to complete all steps. There are three options to choose from:
- Complete all steps: In order to complete the Journey, the learner must complete all the steps in the Journey.
- Complete a given number of steps: Only available for non-linear Journeys. The learner needs to complete at least a number of steps set by the author to complete the Journey.
- Complete the first step or the rest of the Journey: Typically used for a pre-assessment type of Journey. The first step is a course with an assessment. If the learner passes, the Journey is completed. If the learner fails, the rest of the Journey becomes available to complete.
Auto CSV Option
Admins have been given the ability to maintain the Auto CSV system better. This will allow you to enable or disable it without contacting Support for assistance. You can also update the filepath name for the file if it is required.
Notes: Updating the filepath will fail if the file does not exist on the SFTP server during the save. If needing to update the password provided for Auto CSV access, you will need to contact the Support team.
Updated Feature
Analytics Improvements
Live Training Sessions Progress Widget
Live Training Sessions Progress Widget is a detailed view that shows an overall participation statistic on every Live Training Session - one Live Training Session always takes a single row. If it’s a multi-part session, then each part takes a single row with a “Parent Session ID” column value pointing to the session id of the parent session.
The ‘Due’ column is the ‘Planned Session End Time,’ and the actual end column is the ‘Actual Session End time.’ The session duration is calculated from the session start time and planned / actual end time.
Additional Filter Option to Yes/No Filters
We have added a third option to three (formerly) yes/no filters. This third option extends the data visibility filtering with all possible combinations. As an example, earlier, one could only select to show terminated users’ enrollments along with non-terminated ones. Now, you can choose to see terminated only as well. The new filter setup is applied to the following filters on both the Overview and Transcript dashboards:
- Show archived learnables.
- Show terminated users enrollments.
- Show unaffiliated learnables.
Show Locked Program Items
Earlier, locked program items (related to an ‘in order’ program’s learnable content) were not visible in the transcript dashboard. With this change, locked program items can be displayed in the transcript to better show the learning load of learners and provide a more complete picture. Locked program items are displayed with a ‘not started’ status.
Step IDs Added to the Journey Overview Widget Steps Column Drill
Step IDs have been added to the Journey Overview widget drill table. With this enhancement, Journey steps can be identified better with the related IDs.
Performance
In this Bridge Performance release, you can customize the Performance agenda with a free response, multiple choice, multi-select, and rating scale question types.
New Feature
New Question Types in Performance Conversations
You can customize the Performance agenda with a free response, multiple choice, multi-select, and rating scale question types. These updates also include:
- The ability to edit section names (Wins, Plan, Other)
- The ability to add new questions within the sections
- Advanced question settings
Notes: The changes will only surface for new cycles created. Historical cycles will live on the old version of Performance Conversations.
Reporting is currently not available for the new question types.
Any changes made to questions mid-cycle will appear in the agenda regardless of what state the agenda is in (not started, started, completed.)
