I am working as an ECC Site Supervisor with the Environment Agency and wanted to make a comment on the defect module. I would like to suggest that the module should be modified to allow for an entry to be made on closure of the defect, such as closed as defect corrected or closed as defect accepted under Clause 44.1 of the contract.
There’s nothing in NEC preventing a comment being added to a closure of a defect so this would be useful addition.
