When Option Y (UK) 2 is adopted, the due date is set to 7 days after the Assessment Date. Is the PM certificate still required 7 days after the Assessment date (per 51.1) or does the adopted legislation (the Act 1996) overide (I.e payment notice 5 days after due date). Thanks
The contract provisions apply because they comply with the Act, the payment notice is required 7 days after the assessment date. This period complies with the Act in that the notice is not later than five days after the payment due date
