I am claiming Staff on an Option C contract with the total recorded hours which included working time and breaks. The ECC PM is knocking out half an hour a day for breaks which doesn’t sound much but it is currently a 5 figure deduction. I believe the deduction is incorrect because staff are paid based on working days so this would fall under SSCC people 11 and be reimbursable. Can you clarify.
Under main Option C Defined Cost for payment is usually the SCC not the SSCC?
The key here I think is what are you paying the staff? Staff are normally paid for working a 7.5 or 8 hour day with an unpaid 30 minute or 1 hour lunch break.
