Where is the notice period documented for closing in works that has to be tested/inspected

You wont find it in the contract but you should find it within your project specific Works Information. Failing that, normally I find projects agree at the start of a project the ITT (inspection and test plan) that both Parties are to work to in order to establish level of testing, which are hold points, who by and with regards to what notice period a are required. Much better this is already tied into the Works Information so there can be no arguments as to what was expected/priced by the Contractor.
