Is the contractor entitled to recovery of pricing the CE under the people costs of the SSCC. So are they entitled to QS time and planner time to assess cost and programme implication of the event?

Hi Emma,
yes, NEC4 does not preclude the cost of preparing quotations as NEC3 did, however you have to be able demonstrate that there is an effect upon forecast Defined Cost.
If people are already costed to the project full time then unless they are paid overtime there is no effect upon the forecast Defined Cost.
