Is it always in the best interests of the Employer to terminate if the Contractor is faced with bankruptcy, receivership or administration?

No. The Employer should explore the possibility of having the Contractor complete the works or transferring the contract to a third party since this will minimise disruption. It is not advisable for the Employer to immediately exercise his right to termination.
