Can the Contractor offer incentives to his Subcontractors?
Yes. Under Option X20, the Contractor can offer any incentives to his Subcontractors he thinks might encourage them to help him achieve his target. In main Option Clauses A and B, incentives the Contractor offers his Subcontractors would be irrelevant to the Employer. In all other Options, the Employer will share the cost of such incentives but only to the extent that they meet the requirements of core Clause 52.1.
