With regard to procurement policy, what are the implications of the Uniplex case?

As a result of the Uniplex decision, the British Cabinet Office published amendments to the existing legislation, which came into force on 1st October, 2011, which is entitled Public Procurement Miscellaneous Amendments Regulations 2011. This amendment to the existing legislation ensures that proceedings related to a breach of the legislation must be started: “within 30 days beginning with the date when the economic operator first knew or ought to have known that grounds for starting the proceedings had arisen.”
