# What should the Contractor do if a test or inspection shows that any work has a Defect?

What should the Contractor do if a test or inspection shows that any work has a Defect?

The Contractor must correct the Defect and the test or inspection is repeated to demonstrate that he has done so effectively (see Clause 40.4).
