An NCE was notified to the PM (Contractor to Client)
The PM accepted the CE and instructed a quotation.
The Contractor provided a quote within the time allowed.
PM accepted and implemented the CE
6 months later PM won’t pay the CE because he now believes this should have been covered within the Scope.
All suggestions/scenarios are welcome.
Thanks in advance

Hindsight is brutal in an NEC3 world where periods for reply require quick decisions to be made!
That being said once a CE is implemented I suspect the only recourse is Dispute Resolution and I doubt said route would be favourable to the PM in this case.

Absolutely spot on advice that @thatsaCE, if it’s been implemented and you’ve done the work you should be paid. The PM simply cannot change his decision to accept the CE.
