# NEC3 ECC: Sectional Completion X5

How can Option X5 be used under NEC3 ECS when it has not been included in CD Part One under “1.General”, yet is provided for under “If Options X5 and X7 are used together” “To be subject to further discussion”- Is this correct?  
This involves an NEC3 ECS (April 2013) ITT for sub-contract work.

I would say in this instances there are no Sectional Completions. They have to be determined and ascertained in Contract Data art 1 to allow the Contractor to price the works and ascertain the associated risk in terms of time and money.
