Space is left in the Contract Data part one for adding other measurements pertinent to the Site in question or the operations to be carried out. For instance, if tower cranes are to be used, a reference to the number of working hours or days in a month in which the wind speed exceeds a critical level may be appropriate. The actual wind speed at the Site would need to be related to the speed at the reference weather station. The Met Office or local weather authority should be consulted about the practicality of additional measurements.
