SIMAP stands for “Système d’Informations sur les Marchés Publics”. It is an information system on public procurement planned, designed and implemented by the European Commission. SIMAP is aimed at making optimum use of new information technology in the field of public procurement. The SIMAP web site provides information on the EU’s legal framework on public procurement, tender opportunities, electronic procurement, training etc.
