Where in NEC3 ECC is the best place to put design documents from a previous design contract, when the Contractor and the designer are the same company? ie do we include the drawings in CDP1 as Works Information or CDP2 as Contractor’s Works Information?

Definitely the Contractor’s Contract Data part 2 as :
a. if there is an ambiguity or inconsistency within the documents they have generated, then it is their liability and it assumes they have priced on the more favourable circumstance to you ; and
b. if there is an ambiguity between it and the Employer’s Works Information, then the Employer’s Works Information takes precedence.
