If an adjudicator's decision is despatched and points have been misunderstood and facts misrepresented, is it possible to resist enforcement?

No. Once an adjudication decision has been made, all parties are legally bound to stick to the decision and the stipulated timescale. Should one party fail to comply with it, any other party can take court action to enforce the decision.
