NEC3 ECC Option B: Is traffic management included within attendances

We have a subcontract with a surfacing contractor whereby under Data Part 1 it states:

Attendances, if any, for use in common with the Contractor and other sub-contractors: None
Attendances, if any, for the exclusive use of the Subcontractor: None

Subsequently our surfacing contractor is advising that traffic management does not form part of ‘Attendances’ and they are therefore not obliged to supply.

Please can someone advise if there is anywhere that stipulates/defines what falls under the ‘Attendances’ banner ?

Attendances isn’t a defined term under the NEC, so you need to check the definitions within the Works Information or, given that it’s Option B, within the referenced Method of Measurement.
